festival hall salzburg
the festival quarter consists of four venues which are all close to each other:
das große festspielhaus (the great festival hall), das haus für mozart (the house for mozart), die felsenreitschule (the old archbishop's stable) and the assembly hall of the university.
the salzburg festival is the biggest music festival in the world and once a year salzburg changes into a global cultural centre.
this wonderful atmosphere can also be enjoyed without tickets for the festival. e.g.: in our guest garden or at the open air-transmission of the operas at the square "kapitelplatz".
