the heart of the house. people have been meeting within the 660 year old walls of our restaurant for centuries in order to exchange opinions, to chat, to laugh and to celebrate. about 100 years ago the vaults were given their present appearance: the mural paintings with the geese in a bourgeois setting, the ancient wooden panelling and the heavy cast-iron lamps are reminders of bygone eras.a restaurant as it used to be, for the residents of salzburg and for the guests of mozart's city.

in the afternoon we serve selected culinary delights, which can be chosen from our menu, in our bar. on saturday our restaurant is open all day, offering a vast range of meals.our restaurant is non-smoking.
